List of the best mobile phones in 2020

1. Redmi Note 9:

The Redmi Note 9 price starts at 11,999, making it the cheapest phone on our list. It is also one of the cheapest smartphones sold by Xiaomi. However, just because it is cheap doesn’t mean that it doesn’t perform well. The phone comes with incredible battery life and performance for its price. Its big battery comes with fast charging as well! The only downfall is the UI, which can be spammy at best.

2. POCO M2 Pro:

The POCO M2 price starts at 13,999. It is a phone with fast charging, great battery life, and equally brilliant performance. However, the efficiency of the phone comes at a price; it’s a bulky phone. If you’re someone who prefers their phone sleek and good looking, this might not be the best. However, it is worth its price due to its superb performance and battery.

3. Realme 5 Pro:

The Realme 5 Pro price in India starts at 14,999. Realme phones are supposed to be cheap and efficient, and this phone does not disappoint. It comes with a quad-cam, beautiful design, and excellent memory and storage options. The only issues are the plastic body and the old version of the gorilla glass they’ve installed.

4. POCO X2:

The POCO X2 price starts at 15,999. There are no flaws to point out in this phone. For its price range, the POCO X2 has an incredible display and a very nice camera. The phone feels worth every penny you spent.

5. Samsung M31:

The Samsung Galaxy M31 price starts at 16,499. The M31 is the kind of phone that pulls through because there is nothing technically wrong. It has a brilliant battery life and nice performance. It looks elegant and sleek, making it seem more expensive than it is. However, it does come with a plastic body, and the camera isn’t the greatest. It’s a great buy for its price, especially considering the battery life. The phone lasts almost two full days on a single charge!

6. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max:

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max price starts at 16,999. It comes with all the necessary features, a comfortable battery life, smooth performance, and a nice camera. Like most Redmi phones, it is reliable to a fault. The only drawback? It’s a bit heavy.

7. Motorola One Fusion Plus:

The Motorola One Fusion Plus price starts at 17,499. Moto has come out with a gorgeous phone with key features like a big battery and a great camera! It has the Moto display, apps, display, and actions but runs on the Android 10. But, while it does have a large battery life, it tends to charge a bit slowly. It also comes with a plastic body.

8. Realme 6 Pro:

The Realme 6 Pro price starts at 17,999. Realme delivers again with a great display performance and camera. This is an all-rounder phone that delivers on its promises. The phone, however efficient, is a little bulky. If the bulkiness doesn’t phase you, then the excess amount of pre-installed apps might.

9. OnePlus Nord:

The phone might seem a little expensive but is definitely worth every penny. It has the performance of a flagship OnePlus 8, same cameras, and features! It comes with a beautiful design and feels like luxury in your hands. The only drawbacks are that it doesn’t support wireless charging and isn’t waterproof. If you’re willing to spend a little more, this is the phone for you. You could read our review here.

10. Apple iPhone SE 2020:

If you’re an Apple fanatic but don’t have the budget for a flagship iPhone 11, then this is the phone for you. This isn’t exactly cheap either, with the iPhone SE 2020 price in India starting at 42,500. But, it is a budget phone for those obsessed with Apple. Despite being a cheap Apple iPhone, it comes with the same software that an iPhone 11 does. The only differences? Size, weaker cameras, and weaker battery life.

When choosing from a large pool of cheap smartphones, there are a few things you need to keep in mind:

  1. Know what you’re looking for: There are a lot of cheap smartphones for sale with incredible features and great prices. But, there’s no point if you don’t know what you want. Understand what you need out of a phone and search accordingly.
  2. Be sure to read reviews: Budget phones can often feel like they’re too good to be true, and they just might be. Make sure you go through reviews and lists like ours to help you get a clearer picture of what you’re about to buy.
  3. Order from a trusted source: Buying budget smartphones online is cheaper, but make sure you buy from a trusted website. Some smartphones only sell on certain websites apart from their company website.
