- Advanced fingerprint sensor with faster unlock speeds.
- Has a 3.5mm audio jack.
- The ‘In the box’ is pretty amazingly filled with the charging cable, adapter, ejector pin, earphone change cable, warranty, protective case, and the protective screen film.
- AI smart power management features cover up for the low battery capacity.
- High Graphics gaming isn’t as smooth as promised. This device doesn’t support cooling technologies.
- Battery life isn’t amazing; has heating issues in certain handsets.
- No information is available about the drop, dust, and water-resistance of the device.
- The camera cannot record videos in slow motion or videos in 4K
Users state that the battery can be improved; and so can the camera. Because the current state is pretty good, but not great. A little different thing that can be seen is that there are no separate folders of music player, videos, and file manager. Instead, Google Files are preinstalled in the handset.
In totality, this phone is an absolutely good catch given its price range, but it has a long way to go in terms of software, user interface, and the little details and features that make up the functionality of Coolpad Cool 6. The Face unlock also seems to be having glitches as a few users report its absence, but we guess its particularly related to functioning and settings. Coolpad Cool 6 isn’t particularly good for photo and gaming enthusiasts. Buy this phone if you are looking for averagely good specifications, pop-up selfie camera, and a well-built phone in a low price range.
PS: Buying it during shopping portal sales, and applying coupons can considerably reduce the price. Buying certified refurbished versions when they enter the market would be a good choice if you want to save money!
